My First Sound Bath Experience
Share
During my very first sound therapy session, the sound created by the crystal bowls
seemed to tune my brain into a unique listening mode I hadn’t quite experienced
before. We all know that our bodies communicate with us through various
sensations of pain or pleasure, of relaxation and tension and the like. But what I
experienced, and I what I hope to lead my clients to, is a profound and deep listening
of a different type of dialogue between the body and the mind. It’s as if the sounds
are so different, that they stimulate a different language of The Body to
communicate in a way that feels like an internal tuning is going on. Listening deeply
to the literal song in my heart engaged an awareness of my Self that I hadn’t
experienced before. It was transformative.
